Handle, pin, liner and lanyard combos

The two examples of Electric Orange that I have both have black liners and pins. One has a white pinstripe, the other has an orange pinstripe.

I'm not currently able to grab a good comparison shot, but maybe you can see it in this one:

back and white seems looking better at least on this picture
I like electric orange

I would like to see someone make micarta lanyard beads in colors that match the handles. So you could get a bead or two that would be a perfect match for your knife! Anybody up to it?

Once my first FB blade comes in I plan to sciulpt one in zbrush and 3d print it or sculpt it in poly clay. Have to wait for the knife to get here to decide how it feels. Probably sculpt a box for it to store in when not on my side. A friend at work has an ultimaker 2 and does not mind doing a print or two for me here and again. Maybe some gnarly plinth rather than a box

theoretically, it is not hard to make beads from micarta/G10 leftover pieces, for a example put it to blasting machine for 10-30 min and then drill the halls. but cut into small pieces a bar of let say shadetree burlap it too much

So if you have one of those, it might be safe to consider it rare.

And you're right, the blue does disappear against the black, especially if the scale is black too. But I would still love it if you made a few more like this.

I have a BF in black curly maple with black liner, blue pinstripe, and back pins. I like it, but the blue doesn't just jump out; rare or not.
It would be nice to see the blue pinstripe sandwiched between white pinstripes on black liners with back pins.

A blue pinstripe over natty canvas on wood like african blackwood or a darker ironwood is one of the best looking handle combos out there.

I always like the black on white combos, be it a darker wood or black canvas micarta.

Stay tuned. . .Son of fod has some made by a member here. If I can, I'll get some pics. Very cool stuff, but I'm not sure if he wants the cat out of the bag just yet.

There is canvas micarta and linen micarta
Canvas having a more corse or larger fiber in it
