Handle replacement

I have a cold steel master hunter that I use as my main outdoors knife but am thinking of putting a wood handle on it. I will use a brass plug through the laynard hole (never use it), but was wanting to know what kind of glue/epoxy to put around the inside of the handle that would hold up well for a long time and under semi rough use.

Here's on old post of someone who re-handled a Trailmaster. I don't think he mentioned a brand of epoxy but there are some good step by step instructions. Maybe you could contact him. I kept it as I was thinking of doing the same to my old Trailmaster.

Devcon epoxy available at WallMart will be quite good.

Anyone ever use Gorilla glue?

patched my work boots with gorilla glue it held them together lol. Thanks for the help I'll give it a shot this weekend and post a pic if I figure out how to get it to work.
