Handle shaping?

Considering the potential low temperature in Ontario, the epoxy probably has not set too much yet. A very little bit more clamping force may not hurt, if you are only using book-weights now. You want to increase the clamp force to result in a very thin layer of epoxy between handle materials, but not enough to visibly show in the final product.

I kept it inside during the glueing because of the temperature. But at this point it's hard and clamping would be pointless I'm alright with seeing a thin line I bought white epoxy because I thought it might look nice to have a thin white line separating the red liners and black scales.
I'll be finding out in a few hours when I start cleaning them up I guess.

Hopefully it works and for next time I'll be sure to clamp a bit if I do decide to make a couple others I might just bite the bullet and order some gflex offline.
