Handle type favorite?

I'm relatively new to Busse and over the last year or so i've seen a fair few different handle slabs. The Ganzaas always throw in a few rarities but I was wandering, what's your favorite 'standard' handle material and what is your favorite Ganzaa or one-off material?

I'm hoping this thread becomes something of a catalogue or information source for others, maybe even inspiring some to 'pimp' their Busses with new slabs or even create their own slabs.

Post pics if you got 'em please.

Micarta or G-10 are my favorite on my Busse's. Both feel great in my hand and both are tough as rocks!
I do like cord wrap on my JSB's.

Snakeskin was pretty cool, as was some of the paper micarta slabs. Tigerhide, too.

The micarta on the Nuke EDC I had momentarily was actually pretty sweet. The tigerhide on my SFNO-LE is awesome, the maple on my custom shop SFNO has been the most comfortable, the black linen on my FSH had great depth. Hahaha, everything is pretty cool!
Which one do I like the most though for standard? Canvas micarta or a G-Rex offereing.

Linen micarta, green linen to be exact, takes on a nice patina after use, grippy and tougher than a 2.00 steak.

Micarta only for me.

in order,

Black Paper
Snakeskin
OLDER Green Linen, but not any of the greyish from the past year or two, I like the old that had a little yellow in it.

OH
One more thing.
It HAS to be machined. Well, it doesn't have to be I suppose but I do prefer it that way.

I prefer machined micarta, in the tigerhide canvas, old green linen, and snakeskin varieties. Black paper is awesome too. I did recently sell an amazing custom SFNO with beautiful ironwood slabs and mosaic pins. It was a beautiful knife...just not a user, so it's gone. My favorite knife ever is the satin/tiger banned sabre I soldto George a while back. I hate that sold it, but oh well.

In terms of handle profiles, I love the SF handle, but I have an ABA coming soon, so i'll see about that. I prefer mags on anything .25" or thinner.

Snakeskin is the man! I think I have at least one of every "pattern" of snake. I think.

As far as handle feel, I think my home-grown hand-shaped mag Fusion handles feel best.

Altho I have a LOT of favorites:

The BATAC handles were pretty good. As opposed to the SJTAC's. (Altho the SJTACLE is nice b/c it's thickerer.) SAR handles work for me. And obviously, the old-school straight-handles feel awesome. Oh, and the ZTBM - wow!

Resiprene-C.

I've spent some of the better hours of my life swingin' the old Busse Basic 9 clearing brush. For sessions long enough to get your hand to fatigue state, I've found the slight tackiness of the Res-C gripping your hand in return really helps.

Too bad the Basics were discontinued and Res-C was let go to the Dogs. :D

I like the Ergo-style with the sweeping down pommel or end. I think that's what it's called. Very pronounced on the FBM's but not so much on the ASH1.

I don't like the Fusion-style with the swelling at the end.

I would have to say the Micarta on my BME-LE with the raptor cut grooves are the most comfortable for me. They just feel great in the hand. I used to love G10,and still do like the look of it, but after using one with micarta, I will not go back.

i also prefer micarta, especially snakeskin (since it only came in standard:D). also prefer the raptor scale pattern (though i find it too sharp on G10)

Any micarta is good. I really don't like G-10.

On custom shop production knives I like the GRex with wood or different ivory.
