• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

handle?

if it's for a cold steel hawk, you have to order from them.
a source I've used in the past for other hawks is crazy crow trading post. not always the best handles, but the price is fair enough to make up for the occasional crooked one.

Hardware stores usually have spare wood hammer handles that work okay as blanks, and you know they're gonna be durable.

I've also used pieces off of crates used to ship lawnmowers. The crates are usually just tossed out by the stores because they can't be used again, so you can get them for free. The best part is that they are usually made out of otherwise unusable pieces of hickory or walnut for the base.

black bear's haversack, i use them on my Cold Steel Hawks and my Coal Creek Forge Hawks, always been decent.

Those curly maple ones from Hawkins Knife Supply look very nice. Has anyone had any experience using them with Cold Steel heads? Do they require a lot of fitting?
