im looking to spend a little bit of money (a very little bit of money) for a handmade bowie type knife. the most im looking to spend is about 250 dollars. with a length of about 12 inches or less.(im a very modest person). any recommendations? thanks

Another vote for Allen Blade. You could get a very nice working bowie for much less than $250. Dressed up with a wood handle would still be in your price range.
