Greetings everyone! Here’s a handy sized hunter for your consideration. This one can take on just about any field task. I hope you like it.
Steel .195” 440C professional HT 59/60 hand sanded to P1500 grit for a highly reflective satin finish. Should be ideal for anyone in a wet/humid or marine landscape.
Edge before sharpening was .015” or so and the blade glides through phone book paper, leather, rope etc. Balance point is on the ricasso.
Dimensions: 9 3/4” OAL, Tip to Scales 5 5/16” Width 1 1/2”
Bubinga and corian handle accented with red and red on black fiber spacers with a 416 SS spacer up front, left with the natural finish to match the blade flats. Handle pieces are reinforced with lengthwise pins. It’s sanded to 1200 grit with a stainless 3/32” pin. The handle feels great in my average sized hand. The handle is finished with multiple coats of Danish oil and carnauba wax. Lined and dyed sheath, molded for a snug fit with Egyptian carving.
Only $165. I accept paypal, check or MO, including fees and free shipping in the US. Thanks so much for looking and please feel free to ask anything here or via PM.
