O1 tool steel - 1/8in
Hardness - 60-61rc - HT to recommended specs in my digitally controlled Evenheat oven

OAL - 10 1/4in
Blade length - 5 1/4in

Razor sharp chisel grind w/ secondary bevels - Fine scotchbrite finish. Unsharpened swedge on top.

Black tsukamaki handle with textured rubber grip. West System epoxy hardened.

Fold over style kydex sheath. Configured for horizontal belt carry on a fixed loop. Light enough to neck carry!

As the proud owner of one of these, I say "Wow"!

The beauty of the design is obvious from the photos, but the photos don't show how brilliantly the design works. I can't understand how such a simple handle can be so comfortable, or provide such a secure grip, but it does. I guess the traditional Japanese swordsmiths were on to something with the tsukamaki! And the blade's light weight and perfect balance make it seem to float.

Josh deserves high praise for the sheath, too. I typically avoid Kydex sheaths because of their bulk, but this one is wonderfully slim and trim -- smaller than a leather sheath could be, I think ... and the blade locks in nicely.

The precision of manufacturing on this blade is just amazing. Check out the edge apex profile:
