Hanna Update

We spent the afternoon at the hospital with Hanna, as usual, she is in great spirits. We played Old Maid, which she loved. We are hoping she comes home Sunday.

I discovered the true value of a SAK yesterday. I almost always carry a SAK with the corkscrew, so I can have the eyeglass screwdriver. For some reason, yesterday I carried a Camper with the phillips. Connie had got Hanna a Furby, and to put the batteries in we needed a longer screwdriver than normal (and skinnier) than a standard one. The phillips was just long enough to get the screws in the battery cover, and made a little girl very happy!

Spent the day at the hospital again, Hanna is not coming home untill maybe tomorrow night, or Monday, her numbers are too low. This time she has a room that faces the parking garage, so she has us call before we get there so she can stand in her window and wave to us. It`s harder when we are leaving, it breaks my heart to see her there waving goodbye, instead of coming home with us. Becky looks beat, she sleeps in the room with Hanna.
 
I can't imagine how that feels John. Keep your head up buddy. There's gonna be brighter days ahead. I'm sure Becky is beat. But there's no other place in the world she would rather be I'm sure. Extra prayers for you guys tonight!

Exactly what I was thinking. I wish we could do more for you and your family John. Prayers are all I have right now and they will not stop going up.

She seems to be having some problems with her counts, and if you look close at the picture, she even lost her eyebrows this time. Tonight we are going to dinner for Hayley`s birthday, (she will be 10 on Wednesday), afterwards we are bringing Hanna home with us while Hayley goes ice skating.

Second..bummer about the counts,here's hoping they improve soon.
