Hanna Update

Very happy to see the news, John!! Hip surgery is no joke, but she'll be fine. My oldest turns 5 this month, I'll be ordering some nail polish for her shortly! Very cool!!!!
 
Hanna has been admitted to the hospital. She is running a fever and her counts are too low to send her home. They will be running tests.
 
Nooo..not again, poor thing.

I've been thinking about her a lot lately. I pray every day for the innocent children who can do nothing more than respond to life as it's presented to them. They reveal to us the true meaning of grace and courage. They are most worthy of mercy.

No update from Becky yet. She stays at the hospital, we keep Hayley while Dave works and overnight. What a way to start the first day of summer vacation.
 
Hanna came home last night, fever is down, but counts are very low. That means she is confined to the house.
 
Hanna's ANC is only 300. All chemo is still on hold. She can go out and do stuff just lots of hand washing, and has to avoid very public places. She has also started losing her hair again. The Dr. said it was not normal Hanna is losing her hair again. He said it can happen. Obviously. He said it has nothing to do with the cancer. That it can be from the vincristine and that her body or bone marrow may be stressed.
