So OP, I'm kind of curious why you are so interested in what weapon a cannibal uses. Should we be worried?
Holy Necrothread Batman!
Actually sir ; I'm new on this forum. I just joined today. So l always wanted to ask that question. I hope it's not causing any trouble.
I own a serrated one. Plain edge hawk bills never really came of much use to me.
I'm always curious how these things happen... are people scrolling through pages and pages just for fun? Searching for a specific topic like Hannibal?![]()
I believe it was a linoleum knife.or.one.of his chroma cutlery type 301 kitchen.knives. My Friend thinks it was a case hawk bill primer. BTW l actually had the pleasure of owning an opinel but the tip snapped on a very unfortunate vine cutting incident in.my garfen
Yes, the consensus for the show knife in the finale seems to be a linoleum knife, indeed!
Sorry to hear about your Opinel... luckily they are very affordable!![]()
I actually was to purchase another one but my father then surprised me by buying a Spyderco Harpy for me as a reward for my exceptional grades at my final year in high school. I love that knife. So robust. So versatile. Unfortunately l fear that l may have to throw it away once it becomes dull ; since l have no clue on sharpening a serrated Hawk bill . More over some people on the net said that there is no way to sharpen a serrated Harpy. Is this TRUE ?l doubt a $100 knife is one time use but still.
re: the current NBC show, I'm pretty sure they've had a Byrd (couldn't see enough to make out the model) and what seemed to be a Delica in the show a couple of times in this past season.
The kitchen knives Hannibal uses (and his folded-rubber-sheet knife block) have piqued my curiosity a few times, anyone IDed them?
I always thought Hannibal Lector used his teeth...
No more worried than we are that you automatically classified a Spyderco Harpy, one of the most innocuous knives I've ever seen, as a weapon.![]()
