Just saw Hannibal last night. Good flick. If anyone else saw it, did you recognize that hooked type blade he used to carve his victims?

Howdy!
I haven't seen the movie, yet, but I read the book.
The author described the knife as an old fashioned Irish style blade called a "Harpy".

Spyderco makes a curved bladed knife called the Harpy. It looks like This.

Is that it?

Off to stock up on fava beans in case Julianne Moore decides to accept my invitation to dinner,

there is also a scene when Clairese sp? is cutting some Duct tape off of Hannibal, and I think that she used a DA or MA MT Socom.

In the book, Lecter uses three different Spydies. A Civilian, a Harpy and an unnamed utility blade (probably Endura or Delica).

Given his exceedingly high taste, I would have thought Dr Lecter would have preferred a custom job i.e. some $2000 folder of Devin Thomas stainless damascus, titanium and mammoth ivory.
