danny ... pls add my name in your list! TQ!

i personally like it's slim shape very much ... i guess it must suit for grass, scrubs and small branches clearing purposes!

actually ... the reproduction of this hanshee model is just a great effort in bringing this near extinct model back to the scene!

btw ... is this special project on?

As soon as you have a cost estimate I will send you the money. I miss the Foxy Folly and I do not want to go through that againg :D

Why not? How about the wood model? Anybody with skill volunteer?

motivation idea: why not all of us whose names are in the list contributes few $ so that the one who make the wood model may get 1 free!

I hope we are able to get either a wooden model made or a molded model such as the one Foxy used for his design. This is most likely the best way to get a khukuri fairly close to our wants. I hope they can keep the thickness down on the actual khukuri when they make it. That was the only downside to the Foxy Folly that I recieved. It weighs in at over 3 pounds. I tend to like big and heavy khuks anyway but it would have been cool to see it as the leaner weapon that it was designed as. This Hanshee would be an even faster and meaner weapon if it were kept lean like it was most likely designed to be.
I would also like to hear what the price point is to be also. That way I could set asside the first half of the price to send in to UB when the model is ready. I hope this blade works out since I am falling in love with those constant curving designed khukuris.

If you can get it around 15oz - 16oz, and handling like my Bura 18" Kobra, this one will be a sure winner. I only mention my 18" Kobra because it has a similar size - and purpose!

I would be glad to submit this hanshee for someone to make a cast from. I only ask that it is shipped back in a safe, secure and quick fashion after the mould is made and that it's handled with care.

This one is 17" o/a and weighs 17 oz. This model has a T-shaped spine rather than twin fullers and don't know if this would cause problems for BirGorkha.

I don't think this one is as elegant as the other one pictured, but it is very typical.

Have we had any luck in coming up with a cost estimate? Sorry if I've missed it.

If I could find someone local, it would not be a problem but have not as yet. Not keen on shipping it overseas etc. sure you will understand this.

Foxy might tackle it but he's not been around much lately. I figure price will be $175 give or take a few bucks.

The T-shaped psine shouldn't really be a problem--if a cast is made, 5 minutes with a rasp or coarse file will likely knock it down even.:)

oh please !Santa please!
175$ estimate, that means 87.50$ and we get a model and we are almost 99% home free
