Ozark bowie by Don Hanson. Forged 1086M 10" blade with superb hamon, 15" OAL. Hanson flame pattern damascus guard and spacer, premium ozark black walnut handle, gold pin. Comes with a Bills custom zipper case and a beautiful Schrap leather sheath with stud.
Everything about this knife is perfect. Don Hanson is really one of the best, I still haven't handled a better bowie.
The price is $1800 + shipping. Shipping is $30 if you choose regular french priority mail (insured but no tracking) or $100 if you want french express mail insured and with tracking. I can take a bank transfer, Western Union wire transfer or PayPal if you have a good reputation here or if I know you. Can't cash MO's, sorry.
I have to cover for a cash flow problem so absolutely no trades.

Don has made some awesome bowies. If he says it it one of the best he has made, that is saying something! His 1086M work is some of my favorite.
What is the blade thickness and width on this one?

I'll have to measure that when I get home and I'll let you know.

I just got home and measured it:
- the max thickness at ricasso is 1/4"
- the width at the widest point is 1 3/5"
- the weight is 330 grams (11.5 oz or 0.728 lbs if I convert it right)

Thanks for the extra information, Flavius. That is a great looking bowie. Sounds like it has a serious backbone. Would be a wonderful addition to any collection.
If I had not just picked up Don's 1086M coffin bowie, I would be contacting you.
