• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Hanson Ozark Hunter

Don, I haven't seen many (if any) knives from you with handles sculpted in that fashion. Am I correct to say theres few of them?

If my question is confusing, im refering to making it ergonomic rather then straight or just curved.

EDIT: Should have looked through my photos before posting. I found a few with a similar contoured handle. I think Joe might even own one..?

Jon, here is an early small bowie of Don's with a contoured walnut handle:

I failed to mention how ultra-sharp Don was able to get this 1086M steel edge on the Ozark hunter. May be the sharpest Hanson I have. It passes the Al Dippold cigarette paper test with flying colors.
