Funding a Grail. Take a look and please feel free to P.M. me with questions.
First up is my Don Hanson III Damascus double edge subhilt fighter. Don made this for Fisk's Microshow in 2010. Y'all know makers bring their best to events like the Microshow and I was luck enough to land it.
Overall 15 3/4 inches with Hanson dark Damascus 10 3/4 inch sharp as heck double edge blade. Tapered frame handle with premium old bark elephant ivory handle (this knife will not be for sale if the laws change). The ivory is smooth polished and the lines appear blue/black in color.
Hanson Damascus fittings, 18K solid gold pin, beautiful Paul Long sheath. This knife was shown in a full page pic in Blade Magazine, pg 50 Aug 2011 issue (I'll include a copy of the magazine)
$4300 delivered to lower 48 states. USPS money order or certified bank check.

Next is a small folder that has 2 sets of scales. One set was originally on the knife when Don made it for his grandfather and Don made the white ivory for me after I requested it. Warncliff style scary damascus blade and original damascus scales, ivory scales, fileworked titanium liners, and Paul Long pouch/sheath. Approximately 4 3/4 inches overall with 2 1/4 inch blade that is perfectly centered. Great flow and materials, classy style, provenance/family history. Super collectors piece.
This knife appeared in Knives Annual 2013, pg 133.
$1600 delivered to lower 48 states.

Joe Keesler Brut de Forge Bowie. I ordered this knife from Joe at Blade 2008 and took delivery at Blade 2009, if I'm not mixing up my Blade Shows
. Approximately 14 1/4 inches overall with a 10 inch blade, including the flared section where your forefinger rests, great ergonomics! I understand Joe travels to France to source the files that are the basis for his Brut de Forge blades. Engraved bolsters and carved & engraved spine that leads up to a shapely and sharp clip. Copper liners and carved & engraved at the back of the full tang. Signature Joe Kessler sheath with wonderful features and details as shown in pics. Serious character and signature design from one of the great makers and a true gentleman.
