Im in the market for a bearded axe. I really dig the one by Granfors Brukes, but not for that kinda cash. Whats the word on the quality of Hanwei axes, the large bearded one in particular? Thanks.

I can only tell you what I was told by a rep. When I was at their booth at Blade last year, I asked a rep about the durability of a danish axe. He said I probably couldn't chop a tree down with it, but it would be hell on watermelons. I thought that sounded weak as piss.It might have been a Paul Chen or CAS piece though. They kind of had all that stuff together.
