Nice knives and pix, but Joe - isn't Barbour a British brand? I realize they currently have a USA corporate presence in New Hampshire (not Olde Hampshire) but it's a little odd to see that tag on an American flag...

This is an Blade article I wrote on a fallen American Hero a few years back.
John Horrigan's brother Robert.

I love Johns gesture to Bush. How did he get in contact to make that work? Most makers would never be able to reach the president. Impressive.

I wish I had a patriotic themed knife here. I may need to think on this one some more.

John and his family met with President Bush twice, once a week after his brother Robert's death and then the meeting in the above photos where he presented George W Bush with the knife. It's all in the article.

Thank you Kevin for posting her. The more people that know what Robert did, and the sacrifices we as a country face the better.

Its not a flag per se, but the lining of a jacket paying tribute to Steve Mcqueen (note size tag)

"The washed effect wax outer gives a worn-in aesthetic that will develop well with age. Inside, a stars and stripes lining pays homage to the legendary Barbour-wearer Steve McQueen, while classic styling including a fabric belt, snap and zip close front, multiple pockets including a tilted map pocket and a stand up collar with buckle close give the traditional International biker look."
