Happy 4th of July - Post up any Knife With A Patriotic Theme :)

Dan Harrison Eagle knife. Carved flying eagle guard and feather butt cap. This knife was a beauty.

I say "was" because I sent it and another back to Dan over 5 years ago at his request when I let him know the handles had hairline cracks. The other knife was a Buffalo Rib Bone handled Kris. Dan said several buffalo handle knives of his had developed cracks (I also have a matching huge bowie with like handle that is very stable and been fine).

I know Dan had back problems that caused him a lot of pain. We e-mailed annually and he always promised he'd fix 'em up and send 'em back. This June I sent another e-mail that went unanswered. His website is still up. Anyone know if Dan is okay? I certainly hope his health has improved and he is okay. I also wouldn't mind recovering my knives, even if they retain the hairline crack handles.

This knife was a dandy and the grinds on the Kris were spectacular. Dan did really nice work.
