Happy Australia Day

Happy Australia Day !

I was watching the Australian Open womens final, and they stopped the third set for the fireworks.
 
It was a good day, warm and humid all day but cooled off and started raining in the early hours of today.... :D

Burnt some meat on the metal plate for dinner and washed it down with a few Tooheys Extra Drys..... :D :D :D

There are many worse ways to spend a day..!!

I hear ya. Mums property has been flooded. Inland from Bundy.
Got the phone call as she left to stayed with friends. Water came up to the veranda but thankfully stayed out of the house. Lost all the fences, sheds, art studio, water pumps & a lot of cattle drowned or washed downstream. Trees & logs everywhere. Can't get in or out of town so I'll be heading up for clean up as soon as.

@Andy ~ Our supply of Tooheys ran dry around 14:00hrs. Had to request Heavy Ordinance to complete mission.

I'm just north of Brisbane. I used to live around Bundaberg where the tornado's hit yesterday. People have been sending me pics and details of the flooding and damage...bit scary. I was there for the 2010/11 floods and they reckon it's going to be a good half a metre higher than that!

Man idk how u can eat vegimite, we had to eat a spoonful every time we were late for the track bus in Brisbane, it tastes like pure salt!
 
Vegemite....because we Aussies are "Well Hard Boyo" .... ;) ;) ;)

A close mate lives in Hervey Bay... he is high and dry but it was certainly a bot of a show...!!!

You're probably not very far from me! I'm on the Not So Sunshine Coast.
