I wished Munk happy birthday the day before when we were on the phone.
I asked him how old he was and he said, "49 tomorrow." I said, "Happy Birthday then."

and then I asked Munk, "How in the hell did you reach 49 with worrying so g'damned much?"
Munk doesn't know and I don't either but I'm glad he did.
ANd a Happy Birthday to you as well Shane!!!! Hope you have many more!!!!
One time on my birthday all the girls were here and we went to Ryan's Steakhouse & Buffet to eat.
Paula thought it would be humorous to set me up.
The little gal out of the bunch that came over to clap and sing put a coffee filter on my head and told me to stand up.
I ripped that eefing coffee filter off my head and stayed where I was.
The little gal said, "But you have to wear the cap and stand up." I told her, "I don't have to do such a goddamned thing" and I wasn't smiling.:grumpy: Anyway they sang happy birthday and left, quite hurriedly I might add.
I don't know why people put up with having their dignity stripped from them and smeared in such a way and probably never will know.
Such a public display is one of the most undignified things I have ever seen done to another human being!!!!

If it were at home and among family it would be different, maybe even fun.
Needless to say that's the last time it has happened to me.
