Thank you all for the good wishes on my birthday. My mother called to remind me how she was in labor for 29 hours in the 96th Army Hospital in Frankfurt, Germany before the army doctor took me out through the side door. My old man was on maneuvers when he got the word that he was a father for the first time. Parents are such a treasure. My wife took me out to the Flying Saucer for goat cheese pizza, burgers and a few fine imported Belgian ales. I barely noticed the young wait staff in tartan mini skirts and bobby socks with saddle oxfords. Oh, yeah, Amy where's my ASH 1? Would make a great birthday gift! hint. hint.
