Jerry, Happy Birthday. If anyone ever wonders what contributions they have made to others in their lifetime, .... You are definately not one to wonder... You have made thousands of people happy with your "art" of making knives. You> have allowed many of our combat troops to be able to go into harms way, with a blade on their side that they never have to worry about breaking, and stake their lives on.... You have made many campers and backpackers able to build expedient shelters and chop firewood and cut wood without the fear of their blade failing them.. You have allowed hunters to have a blade which will allow countless skinnings... Survivialist to have the ultimate tool on their sides... But mostly, I think you have allowed us "HOGS, which we have Eloquently named ourselves" to hold in our hands a monolithic instrument, which is an heirloom to our kids, and art in its truest sense, and if need be a tool to defend ourselves.
Since I got my first look at your knives in an old SOF magazine, till I held my first Steel heart in my hands, until now, where a middle aged man can act like a kid on Christmas to get on of YOUR knives JERRY BUSSE in his hands...
I say Happy Birthday and Thanks,
Carry on
"Ole Father of HOGS"
