There seems to be a lot of unemployment going around these days.

...Thought about making myself an oleander salad.

Had to look this up. From Wikipedia:

We can stop our hearts but we don't start them, nor is it in our power to keep them going as long as we might wish.

We can hunt for food in the most likely places but whether or not it appears out of the universe before us is not in our power. Same if we try to grow it.

Sometimes I wonder about these things.
