A buddy took me to lunch/dinner, and I just got back in.
After careful consideration I've come to the conclusion that birthdays are the cause of old age, and since I'm already older than I have any right to be, I'm going to try ignoring the next one . . . just to see what happens.
This one's been great, though, and I really appreciate all the well wishes.
