Actually, I never did pass out. I really didn't have the chance to drink, except for a few bloodys early on. We received a call from a friend (customer) at 8AM Sunday, and within an hour Sandy and I were on our way to Daytona, in a private jet. Spent the day there, watched the race from an owner's coach, had a few bottles of wine with a dirver or two after the rain-out, and flew back home. We got in about 2 AM. Thankfully today is a holiday.
All in all a pleasant surprise and a very good day!
Thanks again everybody. And now that I am older (probably than most all of you young-uns) you will listen to what I have to say! So for a start, let me tell you about the time we were caught in a hailstorm with nothing to protect us except for a roll of saran wrap and a cue stick. I remember it like it was yesterday. The first thing we did was......wait, what was I talking about?
