Thanks, Everyone, for the wonderful birthday wishes! I am now a VERY young 59 years of age. And I am thankful for every single year.
My internet went on strike last Saturday, and this is the first day I have had it back - so my apology for the late thank you.
It was a good birthday - surprise balloons in my office - and no one has 'fessed up to putting them there. A friend baked the most awesome sticky buns (2 in my freezer for later...).
Yoga class after work - oh, the agony! And then a tastey spaghetti dinner with my yoga buddy co-worker and her husband, with a chocolate birthday cake!
Birthdays are good! Almost as nice as my friends here on BFC.
29? Fuggetaboutit. I had my tubes tied at 29! Actually, I did choose to remain 24 for about 3-4 years - 24 was a great age. Sigh. 25 was very traumatic and depressing because I was a quarter of a century old. OMG!
30 was great. 0n my 40th I went to Disneyland. Loved the 40's. When I turned 50 I wore a black dress, hat/veil and used a walker at work! The 50's had been fantastic.
I can only imagine the 60's being even better.
But, Jamie, I shall forever remain young at heart - and that could be 29!
