The maple tree I planted last year is dropping the prettiest leaves now. Here is one to brighten your day.

My Maples all turn yellow and orange but none of my leaves look that sharp!! :D:D

[you probably should'nt stand under THAT tree!! ;)]

Rake those up, put them in a bag and send them to me.

This is turning out to be a beautiful autumn.

Great looking knife. The trees are awesome too, I'm just glad I don't have to rake them.

You are right those are some real pretty leaves, the knife ain't to bad either. :) Not to bad at all.

Beautiful knife Bruce. It must be nice to have your type of four seasons. We have four seasons as well but different... Earthquake, Flood, Fire and Drought :)

Thanks guys.
I like the fall around here. Walla Walla prides itself on looking good. The city has planted trees for many years and even hauls away the leaves for free. We have a compost facility so we can buy them back next summer. :)

I also love Washington, it's my home state. may family has property still there about 50 or so acre's. man in the fall it's to dye for. i am going to be putting a cabin up there hopefully soon as a place to go for maybe 2 weeks a year. here are some pictures of it. it's on the Columbia river about 50 miles south of Canada as the crow fly's. it's on the top of a mountain that over looks the river. man i miss it. but the good thing is that when i told bub (bubb-doll) that i wanted to put a cabin up there she was excited and wanted to help :D is by the town Kettle Falls, and i was just reading that "Kettle Falls in present-day northeastern Washington was one of the most important Indian fishing sites on the Columbia River" kinda cool. now you know if i have a cabin i have to have a little knife shop as well.

You guys are lucky, my backyard view is of my neighbors lime green stucco wall, and out the front I see my other neighbors covered boat and garbage cans.
