Happy Father’s Day BF Dads!

Happy Father's Day to all.
Mine has started out great. My artistic daughter painted me a watercolor of gorgeous contrasting color design that will be framed and going up in my office. She also knows that I'm a "Cat Dad" and did a goofy little craft project kit of an animal paw and painted in the names of the 5 cats im responsible for :D

My wife spoiled me rotten with a new leather work binder organizer, some novelty ice cube trays (to go along with a nice bourbon or scotch later today), and (my big gift) my first Gransfors Bruk axe :D We have an oak tree in our back yard that I adore, but it has the habit of dropping large 3-6" limbs after heavy storms. The Small Forest axe is the perfect tool break these down and get them ready for the burnpile/fireplace. I'm super excited 😆.

Lol, this is my third father's day and that little banshee was in my room at 5:15 trying to get my wife up, and she didn't take one for the team for father's day, she told him to see if I would play with his spiderman toys with him.

Lol I wish it was 944, that was 644 PST. She is usually up around that time but she slept in until about 730 this morning. I’ll still take it, heck of a lot better than 5:15 lol.

My family knows what I like. With the Wild Turkey 101 in the cabinet, I now have my favorite whiskies in the house.
The Kershaw Launch was a Fathers Day gift. Just bought the Leek.

The wife and boy are getting a little too good at this Father's Day knife game😂 With zero input, they surprised me with a piece I had big regrets about not snagging at Blade a couple weeks ago!🤯 This Daggerr Knives Cinquedea is an absolute BEAST😎

Come on over, Dave, I love seafood!

Laphroaig 10 was my favorite single malt (favorite spirit, period!) since 1997, but my children gave me some Corryvreckan last year, and it is the BEST whisky I have ever had. Love that stuff!
 
No kids, but my nephews and niece all signed a card for me. I guess they were with their mom getting a card for their dad and wanted to get me one too.

Happy belated father's day y'all. I was at a travel baseball tournament until 10pm. My oldest nephews (9 and 10) team took second place in the tournament.

Same story. Huge Laphroaig fan and still am. Then somebody gave me a bottle of the Corryvreckan. Now have a new favorite.
