To all the wonderful Papa's out there may you have a peaceful, enjoyable day with your loved ones and may your have some time to reflect and be appreciated. Happy Fathers Day, dear ones. :) :) :)
 
I was supposed to get breakfast in bed this morning. :D


But. . . .here I am. . . .computer, BFC, a huge cup of coffer, and two Krispy Kreme donuts. :confused:


Where's my GRITS, dayum it ! :mad:



Where can I lodge a complaint ? :D

Every day is "Father's Day" at our house!

"Father, can you drive me to the mall? Father, can you give me $20?, Father can you fix my stereo? Father, can you...." ;)

Oh well, maybe one of my FRIEND'S kids will send me a card. :rolleyes:


PS: Cindy! Got M&M's? (That little sob said he was going to play a trick on you when he got back. Did he?) ;)

Hi Cockroachfarm! :) Yup, the sob did pull alot of tricks on me but Thank You for the M&M's a whole lot!!! Being a dad has to be hard but rewarding I hope. If you were my dad, I'd never ask you for anything except M&M's. So far I've lost 10 pounds cutting the grass every week, painting the porch, planting a garden, and patching the roof. Was that the trick you were told about or not?
 
I'm working too. Woke up before everyone else and came in. Did get a nice call soon after. My wife forgot my birthday for a half day several years ago and after all the crap I STILL give her, has never missed another big day.

Happy Fathers Day to my DAD..perhaps he can read in cyberspace. Good man...raised during depression with little extra to live on. Went in on UTAH beach 06JUN44 as a scared kid....made it seven days in before a piece of 88 took off part of his head. He knew how to fix anything, from a broken screw to a lame rabbit...sure miss him.
Take time to say "I love you" to your Dad.

Hmmm...
Although my daughters didn't cook me breakfast (only coffee, anyway) they surprised me with 2 nice gifts: a coffee mugh with their pictures on it, and a bottle of 25 year old single malt scotch whisky. Since they are only 28 months old, their mom might have had something to do with it. Anyway, the best present in the world is being their dad. And I miss my own dad terribly.....
 
My daughter bought me breakfast today and then off on a short 100 mile motorcycle trip, came home and the kitchen was flooded, downstairs toilet backed up :barf: happy fathers day :rolleyes:

Overall it was a great day.

I have a great family. :) :cool:

I don't think so. The little sob was going to buy a SMALL bag of M&M's at the airport and tell you it was from me! I sure hope by now he's given you the super-size sack I brought down to Atlanta! :D What a little rascal; I bet he's a riot to live with! ;) ;) ;)
 
Today was a very good day fo rth emost part. I got off of work at 8AM and I had a brand new patio fireplace waiting for me. We had breakfast with parents and brothers and i took a trip to the Diablo Freeride Park for a little downhill mountain biking action. On my way home I witnessed a MVA involving a car and motorcycle. Luckily I had my EMT bag handy I went to assist. The biker suffered some broken bones but he will make it home to his family. Later in the afternoon I cracked a few beers and started up the grill to make dinner that we had with my in-laws. Put the kids to bed and now I'm just kicking back and relaxing.

Actually I got David Daroms new book, a great gift. AZ Custom Knives had a smokin' deal.
 
Fadda's day and my birthday together!
I BBQ'd bleu cheese burgers for my fadda....he's 96 and a regular rascal.
He doesn't hear well, so he kinda shouts...and we have to shout to him...the whole neighborhood heard our dinner party!
My daughter bought me an ipod shuffle, the best part is that she bought it with $$$ that she earned :D
Wifey got me a Safari Jacket. I know, I know, nerd city. But I've wanted one since I was a kid watching "Daktari" on TV & I shall be quite dashing at the knife show in November :D

A belated Happy Fadda's Day to all you Fadda's out there!
 
A day late, but I hope all you fathers had a great day yesterday!

I had to postpone it with my own dad because he was at a car show all weekend, so I'll be taking him out for dinner this week. :)
