If you had the laparoscopic, you will be ready to go in a week and a half to two weeks. I just had my gallbladder removed at nearly the same time of year with the same laparoscopic procedure as the appendectomy. They even used some of the same scars haha. :D I was back to heavy lifting in 16 days. Just take it easy the first week or so, but walk around a lot to get everything flowing correctly. Good luck, and glad it didn't burst on you, bud!

I am at the week point right now, and things are much better. I am an Electrician, so a lot of movement that is not fun with the incisions. I am just going to give myself the rest of the holidays off and be closer to 100% before I get back into it....
If I worked at a desk, I would have been back in a couple of days....

Thanks for the advice. I did nothing for the first few days and since then I've been getting back to hiking, but keeping it short to about 2K a day. Gotta keep moving or I will turn into a weak useless vegetable with blood clots!

Glad to hear you are ahead of me in gastric surgeries!!! I am glad they worked out well for you man, take care of yourself!

Just a quick update on the GAW.

60 of the 100 spots have been claimed. (As of this post)

(Please correct me if I am wrong)

With only 40 spots left, I am going to announce the winner this Monday the 22nd at 8PM EST.

This is going much faster than I thought, and there is zero sense in waiting.

Very generous and thank you for the chance. I'll take 526. My wife had her appendix burst, she ended up spending 2 weeks in the hospital. Glad you got it taken care of before any issues came up
