No matter what your religion or beliefs, this is a time of the year to reflect, appreciate and prepare for the next year. For my family that is Christmas and New Years.

As part of my reflection, I remember how much I appreciate this Forum and how much enjoyment i receive here on daily basis. I've developed numerous friendships through this place called the porch. My thanks go to the owners, moderators, sponsors, annual blade forums knife corralling specialists, and YOU-the porch.

So Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa and Happy New Year.

Christmas Eve is special for our family. Families converge on Grandma Rockwell's house for an evening of fun, food and celebration of the birth of Christ.

Tonight, I'll carry this very special knife. Post your holiday carry in celebration of this, the most wonderful time of the year.

Carrying the one in photo below for it's second Christmas.
It is THE Christmas knife (so far). I've carried it at home and at work all of December. Along with many others rotating. CV; lots of blue and gold patina.

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope everyone has a nice one!

As I await the rest of the family getting up so we can start breakfast including Sara Lee coffee cakes :):), I am forced to exist on Christmas cookies and coffee with Kahlua and Baileys.
