used plow discs are also what Rogue hoes & shovels are made from.

Probably tough steel! It's from South America. I believe it's a cooking utensil used by field workers. They are Very resourceful...... I could find the link where I bought it, if any want? It was cheap. ha. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat!
If I knew it was of interest, I'd take better pics of It.
I believe the steel looks pretty, but I didn't know others would? Haha

did you start with the disc and weld it up yourself, or buy a completed discada?
individual discs are pretty cheap, but so is the carolina cooker brand discada from ASC.
they also sell really nice sheet steel skillets at silly low prices.

We went fishing into the Sea of Cortez years ago with a friend from work. His family cooked us up our catch later in the "disco". Pretty good fish, I remember tasting Trigger fish for the first time with lime and cilantro.

I purchased one complete, with handles added too.
I can weld, both TIG and MIG, but it would of taken way too much time, and the price was Right. I can make a lot of stuff, but I tend to only do it when I can't buy what I want, or if I feel the price isn't right....
