Happy New Years, guys!

Well, I got a great deal on a Gerber fixed blade. It costs 12.99 new in the blister pack at the sports store but I got mine for just 4.99! Those people paying retail and more for the same knife, when will they ever learn? They should have been on the prowl for great bargains like I was.

I'm about as sensitive as that last knife you brag about buying. :) And nothing's 'personal.' I'm surprised one so brash as you would be offended.

Look, you were coming across as condescending toward anyone who didn't have the knowledge of knife buying that you do. I pointed out that if one takes the attitude you exude in your posts, then you yourself bend over on just about everything YOU buy because I guarantee you somewhere people negotiated better than you did because they knew the game better for the product. That's why I asked you what I did in my first post to you.

Most of the people here have pretty wide eyes, thank you. Get over your OWN butthurt over the GummyBear thing and grasp what I was pointing out to you in my second post.

I would normally offer a peace cookie at this point......

Lol, this went so differently than I expected. I posted a similar post to my old 0566 thread but got such different responses. I'm going to let this one die out. I guess all the fun people are out partying and enjoying the end of their 2014... I'm going to go join them! Happy New Year, guys.

Interesting to see you deleted your OP. Whats with that? Anyway, I am enjoying New years just fine at home with my family. My kid went nuts for Let it Go and Taylor swift. Priceless. Money can't buy it....
