You just missed muzzleloader season. It was nice, second rut locally. I personally saw 2 does and a buck... They spooked.

Actually I didn't miss muzzleloader season up here - I just missed all the deer. >:-(
'Early' shotgun came and went and I didn't bother. Late shotgun btw Xmas and New Years is a possibility, but there's other stuff I could be doing with better odds of success than the venison lottery.
