Happy Thanksgiving! What are yall using in the kitchen?

We don't havery thanksgiving down under but it was a Friday I think? So I sunk a few tinnies and used my Gopte knife to cut up a watermelon :) after giving up on slicing it I used the khuks full potential...started chopping into it with controlled hits, worked very well :) got very messy and drunk. So all in all, my thanksgiving was good :)

I ended up slicing potatoes with my reti. My niece was trying to use a normal knife, but the knife was dull, and bending excessively, and she's tiny. Turns out the reti does quite well on potatoes once you get the hang of it.

Scara, did you remember to get the knife back? Or is your neice now appropriately armed? Maybe a stocking stuffer idea, a couple nice khuks for the family...

I got it back. Ironically the next day I was showing it to a friend and left it in his car. I have nothing to fear though, he took a look at it and didn't like it. Said he found it to be unwieldy because of the light handle. And my aunt wouldn't approve of me giving her kids kukris or anything like that. As it was, she saw the Reti and said that she wouldn't even let her kids use it or the Suga. I tried the Suga on one potato and found it didn't work well.

I've considered Kagas Katne for some family members, but books are cheaper and always well appreciated in the family, and there's only one brother who would really appreciate a Kag.

My little 80CrV2 EDC and a Bastinelli raptor in D2-no khuks since we traveled through the East Coast Megaplex toget to Va. and I didn't feel like having any long roadside chats with the local gendarmerie.
