Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone had a safe and happy Thanksgiving! I had to work both days until 1400 but it was still a good one and I even got filled up on food before watching my Cowboys get there arss kicked! That's OK we can always watch the DCB Cheerleaders!

I took both days off, well not today as much as yesterday; I had payroll to work up and checks to write today. But, yesterday, the food and fellowship was just wonderful. I ate way too much, as I always do on Thanksgiving. It is my favorite holiday of the year. Yes, I celebrate Christmas, but the commercial aspects around it have made it less enjoyable for me. But, the Gift of Christmas is the greatest of all.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Just to make it traditional, we carved the turkey and the ham with a Rapala (Normark) fillet knife. I had to break out my S&M Heritage jack to cut up some thick bacon wrapped around some baked string bean bundles. (BTW, if you haven't had those, they are easy to make and taste awesome.)

As a Giants fan, there are only two reasons to WATCH the cowboys in the first place
1) to see them get their arse kicked :D
2) to watch the cheerleaders :D

I worked but it was still a good day and I had dinner on Sunday as that's the only day my sister, me, and our roommates had to get together. We had a great time Sunday. Wish my mom would have been there but it was still a great time. We all had to mention 1 thing we were thankful for and my reply was a job. I am thankful for many things but my job especially as many folks don't have one. Happy belated Thanksgiving all.

Late, but hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I have a little extra to be thankful for this year - I started a new position a few weeks ago after being out of work for 16 months. Peace to all!

Had a very Happy Thanksgiving. Helped a friend put on her 10th community Thanksgiving dinner. Come one, come all - no questions asked. Always a great turnout and its a way for me to give back to the community in a behind the scenes way.

We will have 'our' Thanksgiving tomorrow when my wife's son and his bride come up for the day. They were originally supposed to go to Winthrop to see the Christmas stuff so I took an overtime at work but my wife will bring me my lunch so I won't miss out.
