Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone !!! Hope everybody has a great holiday :)
 
Happy Thanksgiving! Especially to all of the Soldiers who allow us to enjoy this day in peace.
 
Finally crawled off the couch. Happy Thanksgiving! I hope it has been a good one for everyone.
 
Happy thanksgiving everyone. We spent the day at the VFW hanging out with vets from ww2 to present enjoying good food and friends. About 100 folks showed up lots of turkey, ham, dressing and other goodies were eaten, booze was drunk and stories told. All in all a real good day.

we spent the day with my family, it was really good to chill with them. Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving as well.
 
And now for the day after Thanksgiving, when the Christmas music really starts getting out of control. I'm not sure I'm ready for a month of Jingle Bells wherever I go quite yet, but there was definitely something different with the mood of everyone in our little town this morning. I dared to venture out today and everywhere I went, people were smiling. I was greeted with "Good morning" or "Have a great day" by complete strangers who were leaving stores, there were a multitude of people holding doors for others and actually thanking each other for doing so. I'm not sure if it's just the Christmas spirit that has everyone in such a merry mood, but I could definitely get used to this kind of merriment. I've never noticed such kindness in such a mass quantity. Is this only happening in my neck of the woods or are there acts of kindness happening everywhere? Has anyone else noticed anything like this?
