Even though it's post-thanksgiving - I want to be thankful for being alive. I almost killed myself with a live wire coming out of my fusebox yesterday. We're remodeling our kitchen (we're doing it ourselves), and I had cut the main power switches to connect the dishwasher. Because I'm habitually anal retentive around electricity, I grabbed a wire to snake it through the floor into the kitchen, and I happened to touch the end of it to SOMETHING, and I got a huge flash, a large pop, and a diaper full! I guess I had to turn off the individual breakers in addition to the main breakers on this old house. Needless to say, Marya and I had a happy Thanksgiving after that.
Craig, I'm glad you survived Thanksgiving -- the WWIII project isn't complete yet. Also, I really am looking forward to receiving my Christmas special-order khuks. Gosh, I never realized, until now, just how much of my future happiness depends upon your safety and well-being -- so please, Craig, take real good care of yourself, at least for the next couple of months.

But you don't have to worry about my safety - if I kick the bucket, Marya is set to take the reigns until she finds a suitable replacement (not for a husband, but for a new GH owner)
Now, please don't send any hit squads to my house in hopes of liberating all those khukuris from my basement! They are rigged to blow at the first sign of trouble.
