I’m sure you learned as much or more on the ranch. My joke was from my childhood when our father would tell us stories about the hardship of growing up in New York & having to walk to school in the snow. We grew up in S. Cal.. Not much snow here..

Not true buddy it snows all the time here in SoCal:

Keep telling ya not many palm trees and bikinis up here! The mountains in the background are our ranch where I had to go feed cattle. We'll be heading out again this morning to feed. Warmer last night and windy so this will probably be the last time as the the ranch will start to "open up." Outside the shop:

Enjoy! There’s Snow at Wrightwood & the 15 was closed for about 12 hours. Its unusual to have this much this early in the season. Your about 2 hours NNE from me in the mountains I’m at sea level. It’s cool down here, still mostly bikinis & palm trees ....Perhaps Ceci & come visit your fair town someday. When it’s warmer

Your up there in elevation. Mt. Baldy is 10,000 ft. Highest in LA county. My wife is “Chilly Willy” the Penguin from the cartoons. We’re are the Coast and I bought her a heavy Cabela’s vest which she wears over a sweater & under a full length coat with a hood, gloves and calf length boots for our brutal winters down here... It won’t be till June till I could even talk her into it. I do my best to keep her warm!

This is colder than usual for the end of Nov, we have cool cloudy pissydays in June here as well.. But no snow! Stay warm out there feeding the livestock..
