Up for sale is a Hapstone RS sharpening system. I used it to sharpen 5 knives, but I just don’t use it anymore.
It is in like new shape, but I did happen to scratch up one of the clamp edges from sharpening at to low of an angle. The scratches are unnoticeable now because I plasti dipped the clamps, so it wouldn’t scratch the knife while being clamped. The plasti dip is completely and easily removable.
Other than the scratches on the clamp, there is no other scratch or ding that I can find.
The accessories I am including, that I had to buy separately, are the Hapstone 19x15 silicone mat, a thickness compensator, a 4mm ball end hex screwdriver, a spring assisted stopper, and the soft case to store the sharpener.
All together, with the accessories, I have spent $297.00.
I would like to sell the sharpener for Sold, which includes shipping. I can only accept paypal friends and family. CONUS only.
All you would need to get started sharpening is a set of stones and a few other items. Then you will be on you’re way sharpening. Gritomatic just happens to have the sets of Venev 6 inch dual sided diamond stones in stock for $130.00. You will also need a 3 mm hex driver to adjust the clamps. The 4mm hex driver that is included is only used for the assembly of the unit. You will also need an angle cube, to find the angle you are sharpening at.
This sharpening system works beautifully. If you have any questions, I’d be happy to help you get set up and sharpening.
There is a plethora of information about this system on youtube, if you are curious on how the system works. It is easy to assemble, but for the life of me, I cannot find the instructions. You will probably have to watch a video on how to assemble it, but it is super simple.
