Thank ya much. They don’t see a lot of pocket time. I’m more of a Pj or micarta fan

I don't have experience with Bog Oak or Striped Platan. As has been stated, micarta is pretty bulletproof. Macassar ebony is a very hard, durable wood that has been used for knife handles for well over a century and it has stood the test of time.
