Ok I want a heavy use folder that can take anything!!! ANd by anything I mean even up too light batoning/chopping/light prying!!! I want somthing that is made of good steel that can take a edge and keep it and that has a good waranty on it!! I don't care about weight or price on this one just super strength! And a blade ofe 3.5 inches or more is preferable!! So any suggestions?

Start here:

Strider SMF

Hinderer XM-18

Crusader Forge

ZT 0200 or 0300

They are all great and will do what you are asking! If you want to spend less than $150 look at the ZT 0200. If up to $300 is ok then get the ZT 0300. If you want to spend $400 or so get the SMF. If you want to spend more look at the Hinderer and Crusader Forge knives. SMF Tanto is what I would pick based on the description you gave...

...

Or a Zero Tolerance 0300 (it has S30V steel)

The 0500 is not as quick to deploy, but it might have a stronger design. It is also know as the MUDD model because it can handle being thrown in the dirt, mudd, and sand.

I dont own any ZT knives, but I am looking forward to.

Same warrantee as Kershaw

Zero Tolerance 0300, 0301 or 0302

Extreme Ratio RAO

Strider SMF

If price is no issue then I would look at the Crusader Forge folders. They look brutishly strong to me.

I hate to be a killjoy... but the full distal taper used on many Strider's (AR, SNG, ETC) make its tip pretty fine for even "light" prying... The ZTs are a little stouter that way... Hinderer and Extrema Ratio do very good work that way, but you're going to pay for it... If you want a serious knife, in a decent price range, look at the 5.11 "First Responder"... Flat Saber grind, 5/32 inch s30v, very very decent tip strength. Maybe a hair north of $100 if you shop around... Dollar for dollar it doesn't get much better than that. Also, check this one out, if you aren't in too big of a hurry...

My vote is for the Strider AR. I've beat the crap out of mine and its still solid as a rock. You really can't go wong with one. I also suggest Crusader Forge. Don't care much for ZTs

ZT 0500 MUDD. I recently tried out the ZT 0200 and just plain didn't like the handle feel and shape. The 0500's handle is A LOT more comfortable to me, and is very grippy. Lockup is rock solid. It's the easiest and most comfortable folder I've ever tried while wearing gloves (even thick winter gloves in Wisconsin). The tip is thicker in comparison to most other "heavy duty" folders I've seen, so it will probably hold up to prying, although I don't know because I don't pry with mine. The coating will give the blade a longer life, even though it is stainless steel (154CM) to begin with. The cutting edge is right at your minimum of 3.5". Fairly light weight for its size but still has awesome balance and the right amount of heft.

IMO the 0500 is the perfect knife.

I pried open some cans of minwax today, just to see if I could do it without damaging the tip.

I could.

I know a folder is what you want but you are really going into fixed blade territory. Great knives have been mentioned. But for what you intent...Go fix blade. RAT has a great warranty!

This may come as a surprise, but I'm going to say ...................ZT!! Yep a ZT0500, or a ZT0200.
