This is a design from mqqn, the JK XD XT. (JK. eXtreme Duty. eXtra Thick). I`m going to be offering it as one of my models, and they can be ordered now, with deliveries starting in October.

Specs:

12" overall
7" blade
1/4" thick O1 steel
Roughly 2" tall at thumb ramp
Rounded spine
Thumb notches
3/8" flared copper handle pins
Offered in any micarta (G10 optional)

$340 including a leather sheath

I sure miss Dave. I grew up listening to Vin Scully but after moving to Portland I soon fell in love with Dave's calls.

I like the looks as well, those flared pins look very cool.
 
Really like the design on this one. I personally think making it 3/16 thick would be better. Still thick enough but cut down on weight just a tad. Maybe make that an option?
 
Aren't they all hard use knives? Seriously that is a beast of a knife, along the lines of a all around survival knife. For instance, I'd want that with me if I was lost or in a jam somewhere. Good work, sir!

On another note, we seem to have a few baseball fans here. Growing up in this area, I have been a Yankee fan since a boy (don't hate me). This year, the circus has come back to town! Bottom line, baseball needs to be cleaned up and the best thing for the Yanks would be for A-Roid to just go away; unfortunately, he seems to want to stick around. Funny what millions of dollars will make a person do.....

3/16" thick would be a less cost option, figure about $15 less.
