Hardware store find!!!

I never got a knife as a gift as a kid. I went out and found my own . and they were all junk!!! LOL

I remember back in the day you could even buy switch blade kits (which I bought) and have delivered to the house. secretly putting those together in my room late at night is some of the best memories of my childhood .

He will love that knife and always have the great memories. he will be the envy of all his friends. Just make sure to stress the fact he should never ever bring it to school to show off. we know how that stuff goes down !! :(
 
Cool. Spend an afternoon just you and he while you teach him to use it safely. Open, close, open, close, open, close...................................
 
Well that went well!! Opened his gifts a bit ago, and definitely likes it. He grinned from ear to ear. Get this, a few minutes later he said Dad what kind of steel is it? I guess he’s watched too many forged n fire episodes with me!
