5" drop point blade made of 1095 carbon steel
.187" thick
Rockwell hardness of 55-57.
The blade has a non reflective black phosphate coat and filework on the top spine for secure grip.
Full tang construction with tan canvas Micarta scales, and a skull crusher pommel with lanyard hole.
Has sheath with liner and accessory pouch and original box
overall length of 10.75".
I used this once chopping on a tree branch, otherwise it just rode behind the seat of my truck. Great condition. There are a few scuffs on the coating from chopping previously mentioned, but the blade is in 95% shape…touched up on a Sharpmaker.
Protech Harkins D/A ATAC Proto
Knife is mint. Comes in plastic Protech Baggie, no box, I don’t know if it ever had one. The blade has a black coating and the D/A feature functions flawlessly. The spine of the blade is satin and is marked “ProTech” and “Prototype”. No other writing, sterile blade. Grey Carbon fiber inlays feature the double action feature. I was told it was probably pretty unique.
Protech Brend #2 Satin Plain blade (sorry I mislabled it in the title and I can't edit that!)
It has approx. 2.75" blade
Perfect condition, comes in Protech Baggie, no box. Sterile, satin blade is beautiful. The only writing on this piece is “Protech” at the base of the spine.
