harley davidson knives?

My dad loves Harley Davidson stuff, so i thought I might buy him one of thise flaming legend knives, wondered what your experiences with them are? Is the steel any good or the lock and all the general things. Thanks for any replies
 
I gave one [the blue one] to my son. It's sharp as hell and locks up pretty tight. I paid $30 for it and for that kind of money I am happy.
 
Some are decent knives for the money, most are over priced junk with a Name Brand logo attached.....and thats what you pay for.
 
Most of them are made by United, and in my experiance, everything they put out is lacking for the money.
 
It seems like another example of a company that has a very respected position in a certain market aligning themselves with a company in another that doesn't. Firearms manufacturers seem to fall into this trap too (smith & wesson, walther, etc.).
