Harley-Davidson Model 110

I have a HD model 110, and I'm having trouble finding more info about it. Nowhere on the knife, be it the blade, handle or pouch, does the word 'Buck' appear. (Does that mean it's a Shrade?) It has polished bolsters, red rosewood grips with a plastic 'HD' escutsceon in the left grip. It came with a black belt sheath, with the HD logo stamped on the flap. I'm not in love with the knife, but I feel it should go to a collector. Can you help?--OKG

If it looks like a 110, but doesn't say BUCK, then it would probably be a knock-off. You should go to ebay.com and search for HD knives. There will be over 170 listed for the search labeled 'Harley David* Kni*'.

Hey old knife guy,

Alan's advice is right on the money. All the knives Buck did for HD will be stamped Buck on the blade.
