Hi fellas, thanks for looking. I did this one a little differently - the mirror buff job is contrasted by hand-rubbed satin flats which really accentuates the hollow harpoon grinds. I selected presentation grade Desert Ironwood Burl for this magnificent knife. The sheath is being held off until the buyer specifies right or left and will look just like the sheath shown in http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/913525-Harpoon-Grind-Man-Hunter-in-D2-**SOLD**The upper clip is sharpened on this model. Asking $350 plus $20 shipping/insurance. The first "I'll take it", PM, or email, gets it. Paypal preferred to my account tksteingass@frontier.com Maker's lifetime common sense warranty and free sharpening.

3/16" CPM-154 stock
HT to Rc 60-61
8 3/8" OAL
4 1/8" Blade
Concave harpoon grinds - mirror buff
Hand rubbed satin flats
Pinned and soldered guard
Presentation grade Desert Ironwood burl scales
Thumb grooves on spine
Red liners on tapered tang
416 SS furniture
8/9 oz leather sheath (buyer specify right or left)

Nice Tk , very interesting . Satin flats and polished grinds look SO COOL . I have always like the contrast , that knife must look great in person . The pics do not do that grind justice that you have on that piece .

Now , educate this old dude , what the hell is a harpoon grind ???

Jack:

I've wondered where you've been!! I've been getting ready to send you an email. Glad you like the knife - Harpoon really refers to the shape or profile of the blade rather than the grind. I guess you could more accurately call this a harpoon profile with concave grinds. Matthew Bailey makes a lot of harpoon shaped knives that are flat ground.

I must hand it to you TK. You always come out with something new but always interesting designs instead of having only one style over and over. This speaks very well of your skill and dynamism in the practice of your craft. More power to you, my friend.
I also like the sheath that you are offering for this knife which makes me want to order one for my Manhunter which came with a Kydex sheath.
Best.
Jess
