Something new that I tried: Walnut, especially stabilized, tends to darken and make an uninteresting handle (brown) so I took some stabilized walnut that had with only a little figure in it and jiiged it with a die grinder. It took on a very grippy handle and also, I think, looks kind of cool. Opinions are appreciated but please ignore the lint that showed up on my photo of the handle, todays cell phone cameras are just too good sometimes, because I can't see the the lint looking through my bifocals.
